Saying hello

Hey there!  Sorry I haven't posted a card in a while.  We have been passing around a stomach virus at my house.  Hopefully I will get to craft tomorrow!  I am off to a Pre-K program tonight.  My little guy is going to be a kindergartner.  I hope I don't cry.  Toodles!

Mother's Day - Card Pattern 62

I FINALLY made a Mother's Day card - which means my Mother-in-law will get hers in the mail on Monday.  Luckily, she is a very laid-back, forgiving MIL!  I used Card Patterns sketch 62.  Here it is...
Not sure if you can tell in the photo I distressed the edges of the circles and pp.  I hand stitched around the edges - I really like the result.

You're so sweet

I need a Thank you card for a wonderful family.  Two of the kids ride my bus and they are moving.  The very kind Mom met me at the bus stop to give me a photo box full of scrappy/crafty supplies (she knows I am a scrapbooker).  Wasn't that sweet?!  So, here is the card...
Don't you LOVE the ribbon?!  I totally copied the technique from this blog.  It was really easy and I love the results.

Birthday

I made a birthday card for my husband's coworker and buddy.  His birthday is today.  He used to fly airplanes (now he flies the kind where he stays on the ground).  Anyway, I thought he would enjoy this card.
I used a set I got from the bubble bin at MFT!  The color in the photo is a little off the cardstock and ink of sky is the very same - SU Baja Breeze.

Stamps: MFT Going Places, CTMH for sentiment, Hero Arts clouds
Cardstock: SU Baja Breeze and Bayou Blue, Kraft
Pattern Paper: DCWV
Ink: Memnto Brown and SU Baja Breeze
Misc: Nesties and sewing machine
